CORT Housing Training

This 2-day in-person training will take place in Indiana.

Housing law attorneys and programs throughout the nation are collaborating to present an in-person housing law training targeted to new and seasonal staff who are passionate about preserving and enforcing the right to affordable and safe housing. The training will be conducted by experienced staff from legal aid programs and other legal organizations.

The training will focus on a variety of issues affecting low-income tenants and challenges to safe, habitable housing as well as strategic advocacy and updates. The training will also serve as a refresher and update to more experienced attorneys and advocates and will have opportunities for more experienced attorneys and trainers to discuss emerging issues and best practices.
